Genesis Energy – South Island eSaver Plan as at 1 April 2016- Terms and Conditions

  1. To be eligible for the South Island eSaver Plan ("Offer"), you must:
    1. be:
      1. a new Genesis Energy residential electricity customer in the South Island, excluding pre-paid customers;
      2. an existing Genesis Energy residential customer for LPG in the South Island; or
      3. an existing residential customer selected by Genesis Energy as eligible for this Offer;
    2. be on a standard single-phase residential connection;
    3. not be on an embedded network or a 2 to 8 kVa load group;
    4. sign up from 1 April 2016 to a 12 month fixed term electricity plan at your primary residence ("Plan"), which will commence from the start date of electricity supply as shown on your Genesis Energy bill;
    5. receive your energy bill and other promotional communications by email; and
    6. pay your energy bills by recurring variable direct debit from your bank account or recurring variable credit or debit card payment.
  2. The pricing provided under this Offer is based on your location, meter type and meter configuration. If it is subsequently found that you do not (or do no longer during the term of your Plan) meet the above eligibility criteria or if you move house, Genesis Energy may remove you from the Offer. In those circumstances, subject to meeting Genesis Energy's acceptance criteria, you may be offered Genesis Energy's standard pricing and prompt payment discount for your network, pricing plan and meter type on its standard terms and conditions of energy supply.

  3. The Offer includes:
    1. fixed electricity prices (the per unit variable charge and daily fixed charge) during the fixed term of the Plan; and
    2. 14% prompt payment discount when you pay your bill in full via variable direct debit, credit or debit card payment on or before the due date specified on your bill.
