A site administrator has an important role at Genesis and is a notable figure across our Power Schemes. They carry out several administrative tasks to support the day-to-day running of the site. A site administrator provides effective support and services to staff, site visitors and the wider business.

Like the Power Stations in which they are based, this role is highly varied.

The Work | Ngā mahi

As a site administrator, you will:

  • Uphold security regulations on-site by managing site access requirements
  • Monitor who is entering and leaving the site
  • Liaise with site leaders and supply administrative support where needed
  • Maintain stock of stationery and other consumables
  • Organise and oversee site-based events including team gatherings / celebrations and site tours

    A site administrator is based on-site at the Power Station but can occasionally work from home or in our corporate offices.

    Site administrators work primarily on their computers and phones.

    Uniform

    Site administrators wear regular clothing but need to comply with health and safety guidelines and wear full-covered shoes and long pants. When on-site they must wear PPE.
