Ministry for the Environment
The Ministry for the Environment is the central government agency responsible for providing advice on the New Zealand environment and on international matters that affect the environment.
It is focused on providing national direction thought national policy statements and strategies, environmental laws, regulations and national environment standards, and information about the health of the environment.
