If you are upgrading your meterboard but it is remaining in the same location this is still classified as a “Meter Relocation” or “Meter Shift”.

If you're after a Builders Temporary Supply to Permanent change, please call our trade connections team on 0800 155 010 option 1.

WARNING: A permanent disconnection is for the permanent removal of the meter, power and lines from the property. For a temporary or safety disconnection please call us on 0800 155 010 option 2.

If the ICP you wish to decommission is currently with another retailer it can take 5 – 10 working days for the site to switch to Genesis. We cannot book a decommission until the site is with us – if your job is urgent you may wish to proceed with the existing retailer.
