Future Home Giveaway terms and conditions

Background

To recognise and thank Genesis customers for their continued loyalty we are giving away one of ten $10,000 “future home packages” to 10 lucky residential customers.

These terms govern our Future Home Giveaway ("Giveaway").

Eligibility

Giveaway Details

Package

The package includes the choice of any one, or, a number of the energy efficient products to be notified to the Recipient by Genesis and made available through Genesis partnered suppliers (“Products”), up to the total value of NZ$10,000 (including GST, based on the recommended retail price) (“Package”).
For selected Products, a Recipient may use a combination of the value (or remaining value) of their Package and their own other eligible payment type to pay for that Product in full.
All Products are subject to availability.
Following notification of the Products by Genesis, the Recipient must inform Genesis of their selected Product(s) within one month of receiving the notification from Genesis. If the Recipient has not selected their Products within one month of receiving the notification from Genesis, Genesis will attempt to contact the Recipient regarding this. If the Recipient is unable to be contacted, or has not selected their products following a further 5 days, then the Package will be deemed to be forfeited and clause 11 will apply.
Once a Product is claimed, it cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged if you change your mind. However, subject to supplier terms and conditions, a defective or damaged Product may be replaced or exchanged for another Product of equal value.
Standard manufacturer warranties and guarantees will apply to all Products.
All Products are subject to any other terms and conditions as are advised by Genesis or the supplier when the Products are made available to the Recipient for selection, or in any other terms and conditions relating to the Products as provided by the supplier or manufacturer.
Genesis will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to any Product in the course of or post delivery.
Package values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). Genesis accepts no responsibility for any change in Package value between the publication of the Giveaway and the Package redemption dates.
Except as otherwise provided in these terms Packages (or any part of a Package) cannot be redeemed, transferred or exchanged for cash, bill credits or otherwise. Any out of pocket expenses incurred by the Recipient will not be refundable.
In the event that any Package (or any part of the Package) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Genesis’ control, Genesis may substitute the Package (or part of the Package) for a package of equal or greater value at Genesis’ absolute discretion.
The Recipient is responsible for arranging and paying for all costs associated with the Package that are not explicitly stated in these Terms, or any other terms and condition provided when selecting or receiving any Product.
If the Package is to be delivered, it must be delivered to a New Zealand address.
