Setup and use Energy IQ

How to register for the Energy IQ app

If you haven’t previously registered for Energy IQ (formerly My Account), you’ll need to do this before you access the app. 

Click on ‘Register’ at the bottom of the Login screen on the app, and you’ll be walked through the registration process. 

You’ll need your customer number, which you can find on your Genesis bill, or at the top right of the email we sent you. The last name you provide on the registration screen will also need to match with your Genesis account.
 
If you have just joined Genesis Energy you may run into some problems registering for Energy IQ.

Once you are registered you can Login Online or Download the our mobile app:

Download our Energy IQ app to:

  • Predict how much power you’ll be using up to a week ahead
  • Compare your power use to homes like yours
  • View your power use and get an estimate of your bill
  • Pay your bill*
  • Place orders for bottled gas refills^

I’ve gone to the app store, but I can’t see the Energy IQ app/Genesis App

Android 
The Energy IQ app works on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and above. If you have an older Android phone or operating system, you won’t be able to download the Energy IQ app.
 
Apple (iOS)
The Energy IQ app works on iPhone 5 and iOS 11.0 or later. If you have an older iPhone or operating system, you won’t be able to download the Energy IQ app.
 
If you can’t download the app, you can still use the web version of Energy IQ.
