Statement: Rankine Unit 4 test programme

  • Statement: Rankine Unit 4 test programme

Genesis will run a test programme to tune and optimise the efficiency of Rankine Unit 4 at Huntly. Between 21 March and 3 April, Unit 4 will be run solely on gas. Following this, the Rankine will be run solely on coal for two weeks.

Unit 5 will continue to operate throughout the testing period.
