Research released today by Canstar Blue shows Genesis is rated New Zealand’s number one Dual Fuel provider.

It’s a huge vote of confidence in Genesis, and great motivation for us to keep delivering great energy experiences and competitive energy offers," Nigel Clark, Executive General Manager Customer and Service Operations, Genesis.

774 consumers took part in the independent survey, which revealed that Genesis’ ability to deliver great service, useful energy efficiency tools and advice alongside bill and cost clarity to customers with a bundled electricity and gas account outperformed the rest of the market.

Genesis customers with dual energy get a better deal with Genesis

We believe that the more our customers do with us, the more we can do for them.

This month, we’re launching Go All In, our special offers just for Genesis dual fuel customers. Having both gas and electricity with Genesis means more rewards, greater discounts, excellent service and access to market leading technology.

Dual fuel customers receive a 15 per cent prompt payment discount on their bills every month, five per cent more than Genesis’ single fuel customers.

We like to reward our dual fuel customers. They earn Fly Buys points at twice the normal rate and get double Power Shout rewards compared to single fuel customers.

We’re proud of the control we can give Genesis dual fuel customers. Our Energy IQ app is available free and shows how much natural gas and electricity is being used at home, and gives forecasts on the volume of electricity customers might be using each day. This can help manage costs for the better.

Dual fuel customers with bottled gas may be able to take up Genesis’ bottled gas monitoring solution, which measures how much gas is left in a cylinder, and alerts customers when it’s time to reorder another bottle. And of course, a new gas bottle can be reordered directly using our Energy IQ app.
