Panasonic Heat Pump Terms and Conditions 2011

1. The Promoter is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy"). The term of the promotion is from 2 May 2011 to 31 August 2011. The promotion is open to all Genesis Energy residential post-pay electricity and/or natural gas customers but is not available to bottled LPG-only customers or InCharge customers.

2. The Panasonic heat pump offer comprises either a $200 (incl. GST) or $300 (incl. GST) Genesis Energy credit and 500 Brownie Points upon the receipt of an authorised and completed proof of purchase form ("Form") and a copy of an installed Panasonic heat pump tax receipt ("Tax Receipt") as proof of purchase for an installed Panasonic heat pump, arranged through Genesis Energy, as set out in the table below ("Panasonic heat pump offer").

3. A Panasonic heat pump comprises indoor and outdoor units. The Panasonic heat pump offer is based on the number of outdoor units purchased and installed. If multiple indoor units are installed the offer is only available on the outdoor unit - that is only one credit and bonus Brownie Points per outdoor unit purchased and installed.

4. To obtain a free no obligation quote for the Panasonic heat pump offer call Genesis Energy on 0800 300 400, or register at genesisenergy.co.nz/heatpump, and an authorised Panasonic Dealer will contact you to make a convenient time to visit your home and provide you a quote. If you decide to go ahead with the purchase of the heat pump this will need to be arranged between you and the authorised Panasonic Dealer.

5. To redeem the Panasonic heat pump offer send/email the Form/s and the Tax Receipt/s to Freepost Authority 126791, Heat pump offer, Genesis Energy, Private Bag 3131, Waikato Mail Centre, Hamilton 3240 or by scanning and sending by email to heatpump@genesisenergy.co.nz. Forms will be available from the authorised Panasonic Dealer or at genesisenergy.co.nz/heatpump.

6. The Tax Receipt provided to Genesis Energy must be an actual receipt of payment and not a statement, and it must include all other associated cost of the purchase, e.g. installation costs. If an invoice is provided it must be accompanied by an Eftpos or credit card receipt, or a credit card facility agreement. A customer’s energy account address must match the heat pump installation address to qualify for the Panasonic heat pump offer, unless otherwise approved by Panasonic New Zealand Limited.

7. To redeem the Genesis Energy credit and 500 bonus Brownie Points the Form/s and a copy of the Tax Receipt/s must be received by Genesis Energy no later than 30 September 2011. Genesis Energy will not be responsible for lost or stolen Form/s and/or Tax Receipt/s.

8. On receipt of a fully completed and legible Form, and a copy of the Tax Receipt attached, Genesis Energy will apply the applicable credit and 500 bonus Brownie Points to the customer’s Genesis Energy residential account listed on the Form. The credit and Brownie Points will appear on the customer’s next Genesis Energy bill.

9. Genesis Energy takes no responsibility and has no liability (in contract or tort, including negligence, or otherwise) for any damage, loss or cost in relation to the supply, installation, performance or servicing of any heat pump. Any and all warranties (whether express or implied) given in relation to any heat pump or its performance are solely between Panasonic New Zealand Limited and you as the purchaser.

10. Panasonic heat pump and all other associated cost of the purchase must be paid for in full or on terms with an approved finance company to qualify for the Genesis Energy credit and 500 bonus Brownie Points. Receipts of deposit payments will not be valid.

11. The Panasonic heat pump offer does not apply to business customers and may not be on-sold to any third parties.
