Panasonic heat pump 2010 terms and conditions

1. The Promoter is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy"). The term of the promotion is from 9 April 2010 to 31 August 2010. The promotion is open to all Genesis Energy residential customers.

2. The Panasonic heat pump offer comprises either a $200 (incl. GST) or $300 (incl. GST) Genesis Energy credit and 500 Brownie Points upon the receipt of proof of purchase of an installed Panasonic heat pump, arranged through Genesis Energy, as set out in the tables below ("Panasonic heat pump offer"). For Multi type systems only one redemption per outdoor unit applies.

3. To obtain a free no obligation quote for the Panasonic heat pump offer call Genesis Energy on 0800 300 400, or register at genesisenergy.co.nz/heatpump, and an Authorised Panasonic Dealer will contact you to make a convenient time to provide you the quote. If you decide to go ahead with the purchase of a heat pump this will need to be arranged between you and the Authorised Panasonic Dealer.

4. To redeem the Panasonic heat pump offer send/email the completed proof of purchase form ("Form/s") with a copy of the installed Panasonic heat pump receipt to Heat pump offer, Genesis Energy, Private Bag 3131, Waikato Mail Centre, Hamilton 3240 or by scanning and sending by email to heatpump@genesisenergy.co.nz. Forms will be available from the Authorised Panasonic Dealer or at genesisenergy.co.nz/heatpump.

5. Proof of purchase forms is an actual receipt for payment and not a statement. If an invoice is provided it is to be accompanied by an Eftpos or credit card, or credit card facility agreement.

6. To redeem a Genesis Energy credit and 500 Brownie Points the Proof of Purchase forms must be received by Genesis Energy no later than 30 September 2010. Genesis Energy will not be responsible for lost or stolen Forms.

7. On receipt of a fully completed and legible Form, and a copy of the installed Panasonic heat pump receipt attached, Genesis Energy will apply the appropriate credit and Brownie Points to the customer’s Genesis Energy residential account listed on the Form. The credit and Brownie Points will appear on the customer’s next bill.

8. Genesis Energy takes no responsibility and has no liability (in contract or tort, including negligence, or otherwise) for any damage, loss or cost in relation to the supply, installation, performance or servicing of any heat pump. Any and all warranties (whether express or implied) given in relation to any heat pump or its performance are solely between Panasonic New Zealand Limited, and the purchaser.

9. Panasonic heat pump product must be paid for in full or on terms with an approved finance company to qualify for the Genesis Energy credit and 500 Brownie Points. Receipts of deposit payments will not be valid.

10. The promotional offer does not apply to business customers. If a product is to be on-sold then only the final end customer being a Genesis Energy residential customer, will be eligible to claim the promotional offer on that product
