1. Promoters - the promoter of the ‘Tank for a Day Competition’
("Promotion 1") and ‘C-Rations Competition’ ("Promotion 2") (together the "Promotions") is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy").
2. The term of Promotion 1 is 10 August to 31 December 2009 ("Promotion Period 1").
3. The term of Promotion 2 is split into the following five periods ("Promotional Period 2").
• 10 August - 31 August 2009
• 1 September - 30 September 2009
• 1 October - 31 October 2009
• 1 November - 30 November 2009
• 1 December - 31 December 2009

5. Employees of Genesis Energy and any of Genesis Energy’s agencies associated with the Promotions and their immediate families are not eligible to win the Prize.
6. Genesis Energy will organise flights and accommodation once the winner notifies Genesis Energy when Prize 1 will be redeemed.
7. Prize 1 is valid until 30 June 2010.

9. For each new electricity, natural gas, or LPG connection through the Genesis Energy New Connections team during each of the five periods comprising Promotional Period 2, will automatically receive one entry into the draw to win a $100 voucher for Progressive Enterprises Limited Supermarkets and catering credit for $140 from a caterer selected by Genesis Energy ("Prize 2"). One Prize 2 winner will be drawn from the entries received within each of the five periods.
10. Prize 2 includes one $100 supermarket voucher and a catering credit worth $140. The winner will be notified of the selected caterer by Genesis Energy, and will be required to confirm catering dates and delivery directly with the caterer. Winners of Prize 2 must confirm catering dates and delivery directly with the caterer.
11. Entry into the Promotions deems acceptance of these terms and conditions.
12. The draw for Prize 1 and 2 will take place on the next working day following the end of the Promotional Period. The winner will be contacted within one week of the draw by phone in accordance with the details supplied by the customer to Genesis Energy. Genesis Energy will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner but if the winner is unable to be contacted after 8 days from the prize draw, Prize 1 will be redrawn until another winner is found.
13. Prize 2 must be redeemed by the relevant winner within one month of the date the winner is notified by Genesis Energy in accordance with the clause 13 above.
14. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. Prize 1 and 2 are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
16. The winners’ names and details may be used by Genesis Energy and its agencies for promotional purposes, and the winners agree to participate in any publicity arrangements that Genesis Energy may reasonably require.
17. All entries become the property of Genesis Energy. Genesis Energy will keep the personal information it holds about you in accordance with its privacy policy at genesisenergy.co.nz.
18. Subject to all applicable law which cannot be excluded, Genesis Energy, it’s employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotions or Prize 1 or Prize 2.
