Blue Duck Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of the ‘Genesis Energy Blue Duck Competition ("Promotion") is Genesis Power Limited trading as Genesis Energy ("Genesis Energy").

2. The term of the Promotion is Friday 26 February 2010 to Friday 9 April 2010.

3. The Promotion is only open for Genesis Energy customers.

4. The Promotion prize package includes:
a. Return flights for two people form Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to Taupo - arriving in Taupo on Thursday 6 May 2010 and departing Taupo on Friday 7 May 2010
b. Transfers from Taupo to Turangi and return
c. One nights accommodation in a two bedroom unit - Thursday 6 May 2010
d. Catering of dinner, breakfast and lunch
e. One day out with Genesis Energy and the Department of Conservation in Tongariro National Park - Friday 7 May 2010

5. To be eligible for entry into the Promotion, entrants must answer the question ‘Approximately how many Whio are left in New Zealand?’ and email your answer and name, email address, physical address and daytime contact phone number to rangerforaday@genesisenergy.co.nz.

6. Only one entry allowed per person.

7. Entries must be received by 5pm Friday 9 April 2010. The draw will be held on Monday 12 April 2010.

8. The winners will be contacted on Monday 12 April 2010, by phone and / or email in accordance with the details supplied. Genesis Energy will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners, but if a winner is unable to be contacted by Wednesday 14 April 2010, Genesis Energy will draw another winner.

9. The winner must be able to travel on Thursday 6 May - Friday 7 May 2010.

10. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, Genesis Energy, its employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequent loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any prize.

11. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for alternative prizes.

12. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. The prize winners’ names and details may be used by Genesis Energy for promotional purposes and the winners agree to participate in any publicity arrangements that Genesis Energy may reasonably require.

14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will keep the personal information it holds in accordance with its Privacy Policy at genesisenergy.co.nz

15. Entry into this Promotion implies full acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
