The report includes the company’s financial performance and performance against our business objectives including specific sustainability objectives. Genesis Energy has recently reviewed its objectives inline with the company’s new strategic direction and the 2009/2010 Business Plan to integrate economic and environmental sustainability principles throughout our business. Seven new objectives will now replace the 19 objectives published in the previous two years Annual Reports.

The Annual Report is guided by the international framework for sustainability reporting, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines.

The 2009 GRI Index shows the degree of alignment between Genesis Energy’s performance measures in the 2009 Annual Report and those in the GRI’s G3 Guidelines. GRI Indices for previous reports can be found in the relevant Annual Report. GRI Index 2009.pdf
