Our culture
When asked, new joiners to the company, overwhelmingly describe our culture as being friendly, supportive and professional.
Diversity is another feature of who we are. We have over 500 employees based at various locations around the North Island.
We have individuals with over 35 years service to apprentices, graduates and other trainees. We have people joining us from many parts of the world, and a strong belief that this diversity brings us strength.
Our social club ‘Club Gen’ has exceptionally high membership and leads the way in running quality events - quiz evenings, sporting events, cultural evenings and an annual staff ball.
We encourage staff to bring along partners, friends or family to attend so making it a real family event. Our annual Christmas party for the kids always goes down a treat!
There are also social sports teams at various locations, including indoor netball, 6-a-side soccer and most teams are always looking for keen starters. Or feel free to round up a team of your own and get sporty!
