The National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research Ltd (NIWA) are contracted by Genesis Energy to operate, calibrate and maintain hydrometric monitoring sites at Genesis Energy’s Power Developments at Huntly, Waikaremoana, Tongariro and Kourarau and to ensure delivery of high quality data.
Hydrometric Services include, but are not limited to:
- Hydrometric site installation and maintenance
- Data collection
- Telemetry
- Derivation and updating of water level, flow ratings
- Data auditing
- Data archiving
