Why HomeGen?

With an ever-increasing emphasis on energy efficiency, Genesis Energy understands that some people wish to consider generating all or part of their electricity requirements themselves. Genesis Energy supports these initiatives, as it believes large-scale generation assets are not the only way to meet future energy requirements. As a result Genesis Energy has developed HomeGen, allowing customers to generate their own electricity or purchase Genesis Energy’s as the customer requires.

There are a number of HomeGen product technologies available that individually or in combination may be suitable for you. Genesis Energy is aware of new and emerging generation technologies including wind turbines, solar (photo-voltaic), micro-hydro, bio-diesel, fuel cells, and various types of waste-fuelled systems, for example, effluent digester-gas generators.

Please be aware that Genesis Energy does not endorse or recommend any particular technology, nor any supplier. If you are considering such generation technology, you should obtain relevant specialist advice before proceeding.
