Moving properties can be stressful, be it moving your home or your business. At Genesis Energy we’ll make the process as easy as possible to ensure you have power at your home until you move out, and we can even set up your energy account at your new property before you move in.
To let us know you’re moving properties you can complete the online form or call us on 0800 300 400 if you're a residential customer or 0800 600 900 if you're a business customer.
We need to know the following information:
The date you plan on moving.
A final meter reading. You can either ring this in, or for a small fee we can arrange for someone to come out and read your meter*.
A forwarding address for us to send you the final bill for your old home.
* Please note: if you don't ring us with your final meter reading a special reading will need to be scheduled (at a small charge).
