How do I apply for a vacancy?
All applications can be made online at our Careers Centre. If you are unable to apply online for any reason please contact us on 07 838 7819.
Can I apply for a vacancy if I don’t have a current work permit for New Zealand?
Yes, we accept applications regardless of whether you have the appropriate work visa. We would also expect that you have investigated the application and immigration process and where possible have visited New Zealand.
Please note however, before you can commence work in New Zealand we would expect you to have obtained a work visa. We are an accredited employer with NZ Immigration and can help fast track the process if you apply under the Work Talent Visa.
What tips do you have to help with my application?
Cover Letter - Take the time and make an effort with your cover letter. This is the first impression managers get so it is important to focus on which role you are applying for, why you are applying for the role, why you think the role suits your skills and experience, giving brief examples where you can demonstrated this.
Answering the behaviour question - take time and make an effort with this answer. Managers assess your answer to help shortlist candidates they wish to interview.
How do I know my application has been submitted successfully?
Once you have gone through the online process and hit the final submit button a page confirming Your Application has Been Submitted Successfully" will appear. If you do not see this page please contact us on 09 580 4805 and we can advise you if there has been an error.
What happens after I have submitted my application?
Recruiting managers review all applications after the closing date. They will shortlist against some set key criteria focusing on your cover letter, what experience and qualification are required for the role and the answer to any questions asked.
What happens once the manager has selected a short list?
If you have been selected on the shortlist you will receive email notification in the first instance and we will follow this up with a phone call to arrange an interview.
If you are not selected as part of the initial shortlist we will notify you by email. In the unlikely event that you do not hear from us please call us as soon as possible to advise.
